Edward Martinez Ballesteros

Edward Ballesteros was born on October 31, 1948 and passed away on Thursday November 11, 2010 with his loving family by his side. Edward was born and raised in Fresno, California. He is the son of Adam and Aurora Ballesteros. Edward was a devoted Husband, Father and Grandfather who enjoyed life to the fullest. He was a dedicated employee to the city of Fresno for 35 years. Edward loved taking family trips to the mountains, lakes and most of all to Disneyland. Edward had a passion for music and played several instruments. He was an amazing singer. He took joy in all aspects of life but what brought him the most happiness was just the "simple things"... He will be missed by all and forever be in our hearts.

Edward was preceded in death by two brothers. He is survived by his parents Adam and Aurora Ballesteros, his loving wife Sandra Ballesteros, 4 children; Gina Jaime and her husband Arnold, Yvonne Gravelle and her husband Rick Gravelle, Bridget Ballesteros and Edward Ballesteros Jr. Eight beautiful grandchildren, two precious great-grandchildren, three brothers, seven sisters and many family and friends who loved him dearly.

Visitation was from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home.

A Memorial Service was held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 19, 2010 at Peoples Church in the G.L. Johnson Chapel.
