Eleanor's zest for life extended beyond the classroom; she was an enthusiastic supporter of the Red Wave at Fresno State, exemplifying her loyalty to her alma mater. Her vibrant spirit found expression as a proud member of the Roosevelt Roughrider and the Roosevelt Red Hat Society, where she formed enduring friendships.
In the tapestry of her life, Eleanor wove threads of joy, generosity, and community involvement. Her memory will be cherished by those fortunate enough to have known her warmth and kindness. May she rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love she so generously shared.

Grandchildren: Daniel Van Stone (Brenna), Christine Lopez (Alex), Sarah Fairbanks, Amy Fast (Mike), Ashley Emerzian (Brian), Brian Keast (Rachael), Jennifer Norman, Jeffery Van Stone, Brynae Emerzian, Michael Bengtson (Niki), Joshua Norman, Sarah Bengtson, Jason Long, Sydney Long. Great Grandchildren: Emma, Lauren, Florence, Vivian, Merit, Harvey, Aubree, Allison, Gisele, Lillian, Colton, Faye, Clifford, Owen, Elsie, Eleanor, Niko, and Ed.
