I was very saddened to hear about Betsy. I offer to Mike and to Betsy's family my most heartfelt condolences. I will keep all of you and Betsy in my prayers and pray God will bring to all of you-- strength and comfort during this difficult time.
I will always remember Betsy's Great Big Smile, laughter  and the way her eyes used to light up when she would discover something new & fascinating.

I met Betsy while my husband was in St. Agnes and was extremely ill.  She came to his room many times and offered to do whatever she could, and when she saw me sitting alone in the cafeteria, she came over and had a coffee with me.  She was always warm, compassionate, caring and immediately became a friend.  She shared her concern about her cancer with me but then went right back to discussing everything else.  I always knew I could count on her.  My husband died in January, 2011, from complications due to a broken neck. I am so very sorry about your loss, and you have my heartfelt condolences.  Betsy was, indeed, a treasure.
