Elizabeth Davila, 69, of Fresno, California, passed away on October 29, 2021, after a difficult battle with a heart condition.
Born January 31st, 1952, to Vincent and Loretta Garcia in Fresno, California, Elizabeth was an amazing woman who loved her family and her friendships.
After, graduating from Central High School in 1970, she went on to receive her associates degree at Fresno City College. In 1968, Elizabeth met her husband to be, Thomas Davila. And in 1973, they began their journey together as husband and wife, and would continue to celebrate their marriage for 48 wonderful years before passing.
Elizabeth, began her professional career as a secretary with Security Pacific Bank in 1973. With hard work, professional service and dedication, Elizabeth was promoted to Vice President in 1990, becoming the first Mexican American woman to occupy a Vice President position at Security Pacific Bank’s main office. After, a merger with Bank of America. Liz, would continue to provide exceptional service as a Private Banker until she retired in 2003, completing an impressive and 30-year career in the San Joaquin Valley.
Elizabeth, carried the cross for her family, putting them first before anything else. She, has been the rock for our family, a blessing to all and a mother well loved. She was an amazing daughter, a wonderful sister, a loving wife, a thoughtful friend and an amazing person. She loved her family unconditionally, and led by example.
Elizabeth was predeceased by Vincent, Loretta and Joseph Garcia. She is survived by Sister, Kathy Urbano, Brother,John Garcia, Husband,Thomas, Son,Michael, Grandson,Evan and Granddaughter,Mia Davila.
