Emily Marie Dayton, age 13, of Fresno, California passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2021, with the Lord in her heart and family by her side. Emily was born March 14, 2008, in Clovis, California with twin brother Kevin Hunter Dayton to Susette Dayton and Kevin Dayton.
Emily was a sweet, kind, energetic, and funny girl, who loved to read and watch her favorite cooking shows. She loved to play basketball at home. Four years ago Emily decided to get saved and live her life for the Lord. She loved Bible class and her church family. Emily is loved and missed by many. Emily is a force! A genuine soul to those she knows and those she doesn't. She always knew how to challenge her brother but still show him, love. Time will never erase her presence in our hearts. We will always and forever love you.
Emily is survived by mother Susette Dayton and father Kevin Dayton; brother Kevin Hunter Dayton; grandmother Trudi Dayton, grandmother Rosie Gamez, grandfather Mark Douglas Gamez, great grandmother Georgia Dayton, great grandmother Lupe Salinas, great grandfather Robert Salinas and great-great grandmother Alicia Villa.
A funeral service for Emily will be held Thursday, July 1, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Whitehurst Sullivan Burns & Blair Funeral Home, 836 E. Nees Ave., Fresno, California 93720. A committal service will occur Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Belmont Memorial Park, 201 N Teilman Ave, Fresno, California 93706.
