Enrique Suárez-Valdez was born on July 15, 1946 in San Benito, Los Ramones, Nuevo León, Mexico. He was one of eight boys, born to Telesforo Suárez and Maria De Jesus Suárez. In 1966, he graduated from the Assembly of God Bible School, where he attended at El Instituto Biblico Magdiel in Heroica Matamoros, Tamaulipas.
On September 28, 1968, he married Aurora M. Suárez. They were married for 54 years. He followed the Lord’s calling and pastored many churches for over 40 years. Pastoring took him and his family many places, from Mexico, Nebraska, Texas and California. He also worked many jobs to provide for his family, from greenskeeper, dairyman, custodian and landscaper.
On August 15, 2026, he was surrounded by his children and grandchildren when God called him home. He is preceded in death by his wife Aurora M. Suárez, his father Telesforo Suárez, mother Maria De Jesus Suárez, and two brothers Matias Suárez and Juan De Dios Suárez. He is survived by his 6 children, Otoniel (Josie), Joel (Crissy), Ezequiel (Angelica), Eunice (Leocadio), Raquel, Daniel (Christina), 18 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 5 brothers, Ignacio, Nicolas, Telesforo Jr., Americo, and Pedro.
Enrique is missed and loved. He showed his family how to love and serve God with all their hearts. We are comforted in knowing he is healed and in the arms of our Savior.
Visitation will be held at Lisle Funeral Home, 1605 L Street, Fresno, CA 93721, on August 25, 2026, at 6:00 pm.
Celebration of Life will be held on August 26, 2026 at 10:00 am at the Family Christian Assembly, 535 N. Cedar Ave., Fresno CA 93702. Interment to follow at Fresno Memorial Gardens.
