Ernest was born on April 21, 1925 to Albert and Jessie Olivas in Lemoore, CA. He passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at the age of 93 years old. Ernest was a World War II veteran in Pearl Harbor and fought for our country. He was a traffic controller for Santa Fe Railroad for forty years and had a second occupation as a salesman of many trades. He was always so humble, gentle, kind, loving, and so much more. He loved his family and never had anything negative to say. He was truly a saint.

His memory will always be in our hearts.

Ernest is survived by three children Denis Olivas and wife Thelma, Ernestine Armi and husband Craig; Robert Olivas and wife Beate; grandsons, Tim Hall and wife Kyle, Brian Hall and wife Beth and Eli Olivas; granddaughters, Sarah and husband Manuel Ramirez, Regina Brown and Ingrid Olivas.

Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Sunday July 15, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. followed by Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 4:00 p.m.. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, on Monday, July 16, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
