Eva G. Chico Cordova a resident of Fresno passed away at the age of 95 on September 14, 2026. She was born on March 21, 1931 in Ensenada, Mexico, to Angel and Guadalupe Cordova. She worked for Clovis Unified as a cook for 6 years.
She will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who had the privilege to know her, and for the steady devotion and kind-hearted spirit that shaped the life she lived and the love she gave.
She is survived by her daughters Guadalupe Cordova Enquirez and Yolanda Contreras, and her son Daniel Cordova. She also survived by her nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and three great great-grandchildren. Eva’s presence in their lives was a cherished gift—one marked by warmth, gentleness, and the quiet strength of a beloved mother and grandmother whose care was felt in countless ways.
