Evelyn loved to travel, was an avid reader, and enjoyed a Martini every evening at 4:00 p.m. She had beautiful smile and love to make people laugh. She loved all of her pet dogs more than life.All of the family honors her beloved caregiver, Jeanette Lacson; and her physician, Dr. Ron Kleyn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion Nugent, and Sophie Hunziker; and son, Keith Winter. Evelyn was a loving wife of Elsworth Winter, and Clarence Hollister. They both preceded her in death. Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Kay Winter of Pebble Beach, CA; seven grandchildren, Wendy, Kathy, Sherrie, Holly, and Merry Winter, and Dean and Joanne Khalidy (Fanfa); her special nephew, Cliff Nugent; and her sister, Jane Nugent Crumpacker.
A Funeral Service will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Saturday, June 24, 2017, at 10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA; or the Salvation Army.
