Jerry and Ruth, and family, I am so sorry for your loss at this painful time. I have strong memories of Aunt Evelyn, and the rest of her clan. She always made me feel like an in-law, not an outlaw. She lived an amazing life and left a great legacy, you all are blessed. Love you all.

Thankful we got to visit Aunt Evelyn over the past few years ❤️
This is Evelyn with her namesake, my daughter Evalyn, in 2014.

I never knew my grandmother on my mom's side and so my Aunt Evelyn filled that space in my heart. She and my great Grandma Jump would drive to Washington from Fresno, CA every couple years to see all of us. They would bring us gifts and tell us stories about my mom's family.
I remember my Aunt Evelyn saying she wore high heels and took the stairs at 90 years old because it she ever stopped she wouldn't be able to anymore. I've taken that to heart and try to live my life with that in mind.
She made it to 100 years old and leaves behind a legacy of taking care of yourself, having dignity, cleaning obsessions that have been handed down to a few in my family, and a life well lived.
I miss her so much and think of her when I look at my Evalyn, her name sake.

My aunt Evelyn I will forever love you. When I was young I remember you coming to visit me. You would always bring me the little straws and umbrellas from your job. What a beautiful person you were always when I was around you. Memories can't ever be replaced, you will always be one of my beautiful memories. My second mom. Cousin Jerry and Ruth and Rick and Kevin may God bring blessings in your lives. To help you through this time in your lives. Amen

I'm so glad we got to visit her in April even though she didn't remember me. I remember celebrating her 90th birthday & how she made fun of her friends that needed to use canes or walkers to get around. She even drove us around Fresno on that visit. I'll remember her as a strong woman. Rest in peace Aunt Evelyn. Love Joaquin & Emily Oronia.
