Evelyn Mae Wilson

Evelyn, a cherished member of Fresno passed away August 20, 2025 at the age of 96.  She was born to Ovie and Mary McHargue January 10, 1929. She lived a long and fulfilling life within her hometown. Evelyn married her husband Warren R. Wilson February 14, 1948 and spent her life devoted to her family.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Ovie and Mar her husband Warren and her eldest son Ralph L. Wilson. 

She is survived by her devoted son Michael D. Wilson, his wife Carole Meadows Wilson, Granddaughter Amber Wilson Smith her husband, Tim Smith and Great Grandchildren Makena Grace, Bohden Michael and Kaiah Lane Meadow Smith. Daughter in Law, Nancy Szito Wilson, wife of Ralph, Grandson Steven L. Wilson, his wife Kim Sheehan Wilson, Great Grandchildren, Corbin Lee, Cole James and Callie Mae.  Grandson Jeffrey M. Wilson, his wife Bekah Bryant Wilson and Granddaughter Riley Grace. They will carry forward her legacy of love and kindness. Evelyn was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone. When talking to her you felt as if you were the most important person in the room.

Visitation services will be held at Lisle funeral Home on September 23, 2025, from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm.  Private Graveside service to follow at Fresno Memorial Gardens on September 24, 2025, at 10:00 am.

Evelyn will be remembered for her cherished presence in the lives of all who knew her.
