I first met Gordon and Florence Dec. 1984.  
  In a relationship with their daughter, later married, I had left my home state and moved to Clovis.  I had come to know both of them well as I had been welcomed in their home and had played many a chess game and had many conversations of wit and humor.  He was very inventive with a design of wheelchair that lifted you up and out...he enjoyed designing new ideas ...
  Gordon loved the beauty of nature , his flowers, trees and  decorative plants , not only in his back yard , but also in his community contributions.
  We were only too happy to assist him in some of those scenic projects, of which I still have some photos of his creative endeavors. ( I have no way to download the pictures, but would be glad to email them upon request to my email...)
  Florence was always there being so supportive in all things, 
Even though I had lost touch through the many years, my last contact in Flagstaff , Az.   , on a swift visit...in 2005....I had always wished them well....
   I wished to express my deepest condolences to all...

I recall the visit to the Russell family when they were in the San Fransico - Bay Area and also the times they visited us in Vancouver. The passing of Gordon and Flo is a sad event for all in the Lymer family. Along with the family, friends and relatives we will remember them fondly.
