Frances was born on December 03, 1947 to Martin and Cipriana Castaneda in the city of Fresno, CA. Frances graduated from Fowler high school. In 1965 she married her love Antonio Gomez, Jr. and went on to have 2 daughters. Frances retired in 2012 after 34 years working as a packer at David and Sons sunflower seeds. While retired she enjoyed traveling to the beach, casino and going to the movies with her husband and spending time with her daughters and beloved 5 grandchildren. She was a very loved
wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be greatly missed.
Frances was predeceased by her parents Martin and Cipriana Castaneda and her sister Mary Castaneda and brother Jess Castaneda.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years Antonio Gomez Jr., daughters Lisa Zuniga and Kim Tapp, son-in-law Anthony J. Zuniga II, grandchildren Anthony J. Zuniga III, Emily C. Zuniga, Gunnar M. Tapp,
Gavyn R. Tapp, Sebastian J. Tapp, siblings Frank Castaneda, Carlos Castaneda, Ramona Bernal, Rosie Rosales, Jessie Sierra.
