Frances Marie Winstead

Frances was a respected and beloved matriarch. Her greatest passion in life was caring for and loving her children, grandchildren and extended family members. She was a devout Catholic and a devoted member of St. Helen's Catholic Church for 67 years. In the likeness of one of her greatest inspirations, St. Therese, she attended to everyone and everything well, always doing the ordinary with extraordinary love.

A sincere thank you to the staff at St. Agnes Hospice; and a special thank you to Debbie Baker RN; and Estella Zamora HHA for their compassion and care during these last several months.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank C. Winstead; infant son, Baby Brother; brothers, George Gage, Harold Gage, and John Gage; sisters, Mary Suglian, Helen Dee Sundberg, and Margaret Kass.

Frances is survived by her loving sister, Anne Steele; children, Craig Winstead, Donald Winstead, Cynthia Rose Winstead, and Mark Winstead. She also leaves behind five loving grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; as well as countless "favorite" nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Helen's Catholic Church on Friday, May 6, 2016, at 10:30 a.m.
