

Frank, at the age of 90, due to a tragic fall, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, on May 10, 2025. He was a lifetime resident of Fresno County. Frank was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Frank met the love of his life, Sara, at Fresno city schools where they both worked. They were married for 62 years. Frank is survived by his wife Sara, daughter: Tami Anderson, husband Dave, Sons: Frank and Marc: Grand children: Michelle Chapman, husband CJ, John Anderson, wife Kennedy, Joel Anderson, Great grandchildren: Colton Chapman and Jayne Anderson.
Frank worked at the Fresno Bee for 35 years. He started as a driver and worked his way up to Transportation Manager. Frank never met a stranger. His goal was to make everyone he met smile.
Frank served in the National Guard during the 1950’s. In his younger years he was on a bowling team and was a fastpitch pitcher on a softball team. Frank also coached his daughter’s softball team and his sons Soccer team.
After Frank retired, he volunteered at Kaiser for 20 years. He and Sara enjoyed playing golf,
Traveling and playing with grandchildren, Frank loved to go on cruises
Frank also loved going to Starbucks. This was his happy place, visiting several times a week and making many close friends.

Service will be held at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel at 1pm June 6, 2025.
