He served in the United States Air Force for four years and was a member of the American Legion 509. He retired from Vendo in 2001 after twenty years of employment.
Gene is survived by his wife, Peggy and lived in Fresno since 1979. He is also survived by a brother; three children; six grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
A Graveside Service will be held at Fresno Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.
Remembrances may be made to First Church of God for missions.
