It was a privilege and an honor to be his son in law for many years. I have always felt about him that, if you looked up “a good man “, you would see George’s picture. Rest In Peace my friend. You will be missed.

Going thru the family pictures was an experience all of its own. Very humbling,a wonderful trip down memory lane. Made me realize that family and good friends really are a blessing from God! For better or worse i have to say i wouldn't want my family any different. Our shared experiences i know made me the man that i am. I'm grateful that God gave me the opportunity to be a part my fathers life too. He was my mentor,my hero, and my best buddy! And thank you to all my family members. You all have a special place in my heart!

I have many fond memories of Grandpa Bitter. Tim and I spent lots of time out at the ranch for those few years. I remember watching him and Uncle Tim make German sausage in the old kitchen, feeding bottles to the calves, and watching the sheep shearing. When I looked through all the pictures shared with the obituary I couldn't help but smile at the one of him asleep on the couch. He worked hard and sometimes irrigation kept him up. I sent him a card a few years ago at Christmas letting him know about my son, Nathaniel, being heavily involved in 4-H and FFA. I thought he might appreciate knowing the ag influence was remembered and alive and well here in Arizona. Much love to Vicki, Sue, Conrad, and Big Tim.
