George, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2012. He worked for the Internal Revenue Service for 34 years. He was born in San Antonio, Texas in 1955 and raised in Fresno where he met the love of his life and started a family.
George was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend with a big heart that was giving until the end. His love for life and his family will never be forgotten.
He will be remembered by his sense of humor, his vibrant personality, his loyalty to friends and the way the room lit up with his presence.
George will truly be missed by all who have had the opportunity to know him. We know he is watching over us now, but most of all that his suffering has ceased and he is walking with our Lord.
George is survived by Elena Chatman, his wife, of 24 years; his two daughters, Amanda and Desiree; his two sisters, Janice Palacios and Joann Provencio; and his two brothers, Dennis and Edward Richards.
