

George attended Kirk Elementary School, and graduated from Central Union High School. He was drafted into the Army/Air Force two days before the end of WWII. After his military service, he returned to Fresno and began his banking career with Bank of America. lt was also at this time that he married the love of his life, Marian Hartman. He was employed with the bank for 23 years. He later worked for Federal Steel and Western Farm Service.
George loved old cars. His hobby went on to include building a 1926 Model T
Ford pickup and a 1923 Model T Ford touring car. He also helped restore a 1964 Triumph TR4, and owned a 1913 Model Ford touring car that had once belonged to Andy Devine. George was a longtime member of the Horseless Carriage Club of America.
George was a member of the YMCA Y's Men's Club for many years. He later was a member of the Edison Social Club and the SIRS Retiree Club. As a child he was a member of the Lutheran Cross Church, and later joined Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
George was preceded in death by his wife, Marian Weber. He is survived by his daughter, Debra Joy Keller and her husband Michael; son, Russell Ky Weber and his wife Tammy; granddaughter Tristan Michele Piggott and her husband Steven; and grandson Colin Keller and his wife Allison and their son Logan.
A private graveside service will be held.
