Gerald Wayne Lassley

Gerald Lassley was a general building contractor in Fresno and Central Valley for over 50 years. He is the son of Bill and Velma Lassley of the Lassley Lumber Company. Born in Sparta, MO on Feb 21, 1926, passed on Sunday, Feb 19, 2012. He is survived by wife Evelyn, sons Mike and Scott, and daughter Gail, with all totaled 22 grand and great grand children and his sister Genave, with her husband Richard Waring and their sons David and Dennis.

For the past week Gerald's health had challenged him a great deal, but not without moments of sunshine, Early Sunday morning his battle became insurmountable, with pain and confusion, except for the love he expressed for wife, their 3 children, 7 grand kids and 14 great grand children. Saturday had been a good day at home with visits from many of his brood.

He passed at 10:30 AM at the Veteran's Hospital with family at his bedside. We appreciate the many prayers and love expressed by friends and family, always.

Even at this time of loss we realize many blessings.

Visitation will be held at Lisle Funeral Home

on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 from 11:00 am until 7:00 pm.

Graveside service Fresno Memorial Gardens, Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 10:00 am.
