Trudy was born April 24, 1932 in Bandon, Oregon to Everette and Helen Palmer. She was fifth born of eleven children. Trudy was a dedicated and hard working employee, retiring from FW Woolworth after 40 years of service. She climbed the corporate ladder while employed with Woolworth and subsequently finished her service as the store buyer prior to the business closing. During retirement, she tried her hand at food demonstration and enjoyed it enough to continue it for a few years. Trudy's hobbies included finding joy in taking care of her yard and gardening, reading romance novels, and finally, an immense passion for ball room dance. She was quite skilled and won a couple of trophies from dance competitions held in California. Most of all, Trudy loved her family and loved spending time with them.
Trudy is survived by her daughter Melody (Armando), her son Ray, her brother Tom, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Trudy was preceded in death and has now reunited in heaven with her loving companion Ralph, her daughter Addie, her son Melvin, her parents, and 9 siblings.
Our dearest mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, she is sorely missed and will forever hold a place in our hearts.
