Glendora Ruth Kornoff was born on May 28, 1928 in Richmond, California and died on May 31, 2020 at the age of 92. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1946 and married Jacob Kornoff in 1948. She worked at various jobs, but the majority of her career was with the Fresno City Schools. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, traveling in their 5th wheel, playing bingo and house cleaning of all things!
She was a woman of faith that loved her family and her dog Buddy. Her love was unconditional, unwavering and at times undeserved. She was modest, humble, soft spoken and had a gentle and quiet spirit.
Glendora is preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Jack Mowrey, half brothers, Bob and Gene Mowrey, and her husband Jake Kornoff.
She is survived by her loving daughter Diane Moody and her husband Wayne of Arroyo Grande, brother Jim Mowrey and his wife Jackie of Kingsburg. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A small graveside service, for the immediate family, will be held at Belmont Memorial Park on Tuesday, June 9, 2020, at 10:30 am.
