Gloria Riggins

Jean Crawford was born May 10,1960 in Monte Vista, Colorado. It wasn’t until she was baptized she was given the name Gloria which followed her for the rest of her life. She was the eldest of three children born to William and Mary Grace Crawford. At age two she moved with her parents to Pittsburgh California. She graduated from Pittsburgh High in 1978. Gloria was married twice and divorced twice. From her first marriage she had two children Leonel and Mikaela Soto. From her second marriage she had Dominique Riggins. After her children were of age she had the desire to continue her education receiving a degree in medical billing.

In April of 2011 Gloria life was changed dramatically when she was diagnosed with metastatic colon cancer. She fought a long hard battle of two plus years. She bravely fought this battle with a smile on her face and never once complaining. You would never know she had cancer; it wasn’t visible to the seeing eye. Sadly on July 24th 2013 heaven gained an angel. She was a very positive, outgoing, and most of all loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who will greatly be missed. May she rest in peace.
