Gordon Allan Turl Sr, age 78, of Fresno, California passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024. He was born in Bakersfield, Ca on June 27th, 1945 to Wilson and Mildred Turl and his older brother Wayne. They moved to Fresno when he was a toddler. Gordon attended Roosevelt high school and CSU Fresno where he obtained a degree in engineering. In 1967 he married Candy Terry. He served in the air force from 1969 to1972. When he returned to Fresno he worked for the Fresno County Air Control District. He moved to Bakersfield in 1979, working for Chevron until he retired in 2005. He lost his wife Candy in 2016 and later married Nancy Gorny. He is survived by his wife Nancy; his son Buddy Turl; his daughter Samantha Siviter; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
