

Harriett Anne Andris, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, stepped into heaven on September 19, 2021. Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared through her acts of charity and kindnesses to others. Her generosity was experienced by friends and strangers alike.
She was born the eldest of four daughters to Mary and Harry Cameron on July 4, 1933. She graduated from San Joaquin Memorial High School then attended Fresno State College. She met the love of her life,
Richard Andris, while working at her father’s toy store, Cameron’s Toys. They enjoyed a marriage lasting 67 years.
Harriett had many joys in life including traveling, and CSUF sporting events, particularly baseball when her grandson was pitching! She was also an excellent chef, seamstress, homemaker, bridge-player, shopper,reader, and volunteer for many community groups. Her greatest happiness, however, came from the love of spending time with her family. She delighted in the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren. Family gatherings were elaborately celebrated and enjoyed by all,
especially around the Christmas holidays.
Harriett and Richard were actively involved in their church community at St. Mary’s. Harriett served communion at Mass and to those confined to their homes. Her volunteer work spread to her church
community as well as the larger Fresno Community.
Harriett is survived by her loving husband Richard, her three daughters and their families: Debbie Reece and husband Glenn of Rocklin, Lynn Crenshaw and husband David of Fresno, Julie Rankin and her husband Perry of Clovis.
Harriett had many grandchildren and great grandchildren as well: Kevin Reece and wife Grace with their daughter Sloane, Brian Reece, Mark Reece and wife Kara with son Jameson, Jill Dahlem and husband
Brett with sons Jax and Diesel, Matthew Crenshaw and wife Julie with daughters Emilee and Alyssa, Robert Gaarde, Jenna Gaarde and husband Stephan Noori, Lucas Gaarde and his partner Leejae Oliveri and their newborn son Elijah Cameron Gaarde.
She is also survived by her sisters Carolyn Wilhoit and husband Mike, and Margaret Castelazo and husband Tom. She is preceded in death by her sister Barbara Wagner. She is also survived by extended family, including many nieces, nephews, and family friends.
A celebration of Harriett’s life will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on October 12, at 10:00 A.M.
A reception will be held at Pardini’s immediately following the funeral mass.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be sent to Hinds Hospice or the Poverello House.
