My dad was a great man. He was so generous and always put others first. He was an inspiration and set a wonderful example for me and how I live my life. I miss him so much, but know he is in a better place. He will live on in my memories and in my heart.

I am so fortunate to have known Harvey -- what a great man! He made me laugh with his stories - there was many!  He was a true Ohio State Buckey Fan and we enjoyed finding the latest and greatest new t-shirts, blankets, and other items to add to his collection.  He has meant so much to so many - he will be missed.

Dad, no words could ever express how much i love you and so many memories. The love you showed Susan was so amazing to me and loved seeing you happy. All of our special father daughter times we shared are the best memories a daughter could ever have, and I will cherish them forever. I love you so much and missing your laughter your smiles and your hugs. Love you Dad.

My stepdad was one in a million. I saw in him so much love for my mom and i am so grateful he was such a huge part of my life and hers. Harvey was so genuine and brought happiness with him wherever he was. Im really gonna miss joking around with him and especially our sports talks. I am a Buckeye fan for life cause of you and I know your watching them from up there. You will always live on in all the peoples lives you touched and made better.

Susan  am so sorry for your loss. Although I only had the pleasure of meeting your sweet Harvey a few times, he was as genuine as anyone and wonderfully witty!  May God welcome Harvey into his grand kingdom with loving arms!

Harvey was such a great person to work with.  I have said throughout the years that he has been gone from Protective, that there was nobody quite like Harvey.   I will miss him and will be praying for Susan and the family.

I worked with Susan at Protevtive Life in Birminghan Alabama where she became a good friend and wonderful mentor. It was through our friendship that I came to know Harvey as well. He was a very caring and compassionate man. I stll remember when he offered to take my son to Wrestlemania so I wouldn't have to go. Rest in peace my friend.

I can't begin to tell you how great it was to work for Harvey or what a kind hearted soul he was.  I learned so much from him, from how to write a great business letter to how to deal with my teenage son.  Harvey, you will never be forgotten!  Go with God! We are so very sorry to hear of Harvey's passing.  It had been very long since we had seen him.  We regret his loss and offer his family our deepest condolences.

We are so sorry.  Harvey was a dear, dear man and one of a kind.  Our hearts are broken for Susan, Evan, Jen, Angela and the grandchildren that will miss their times with him.

I have known Harvey for 55+ Years from community temple through our high school years (even at different schools) and our great college days at Ohio university. Harvey was a great friend, very warm and always full of life. We had some fun times together, getting in trouble in high school, fooling around in college and beyond. Harv was a big Cleveland sports fan and suffered like all of us with the Indians, Browns and cavs. And he loved the Buckeyes. I an saddened to lose my good friend but his long battle with Parkinson's finally ended and he can rest. RIP buddy...you were a good person, great dad, loving husband and grandpa. We will miss you. I do hope our paths will cross again and we can laugh like we use to.

So sorry to hear of Harvey's passing. I loved working with him in IPD and he helped my career and was a great mentor, and also, pretty funny! So sorry for your loss. Condolences to Susan and your family.

Harvey was truly one of my favorite people. He treated me just like one of the kids. Witnessing his love for Susan through the years still today makes me smile; believe in new beginnings; and that true gentlemen still exist. 
Ha ha we had some fun ornery pre-teen/teenage years, but through them all-you never changed with us nor treated us differently. You were always the same kind, funny, lighthearted, nonjudgemental,and caring person. You personally made such a difference in my life. I'm honored and blessed that God allowed Angela and I to become friends. He knew the impact you would leave on my heart and my life. You will be missed, but never forgotten.

I had the privilege of working with Harvey   at Protective Life.  He was not only one of the most compassionate bosses, but also had such a wonderful sense of humor.  I feel blessed to have a video of him playing Santa Claus at a holiday gathering at my home on year.....hysterically funny!  My thoughts and prayers are with Susan and the family right now.

I didn't have the pleasure of knowing Harvey, but feel like I know about the kind and loving person he was from my dear friend, Angela. I know he had a huge impact on the woman she is today and his presence will live on through her and her children. My deepest condolences to the entire family--both close and extended.

Mr. Benjamin was a great man who will be dearly missed. I have so many wonderful childhood memories as he treated all of us (Evan's buddies) like we were his own sons. So sad to hear of his passing and we will keep Evan, Jen and the rest of the family in our thoughts and prayers.
