Harvey enjoyed many trips to the mountains and coastal regions. He was a follower of Jesus Christ and was always there to help those in need.
A lifelong Fresno resident, Harvey graduated from Central High School in 1967. He served in the Navy. Harvey retired from Central Unified School District as a maintenance worker.
Harvey is survived by his parents; six sisters; two sons; and two granddaughters.
A Graveside Service with Veterans Honors will be held at Fresno Memorial Gardens on Thursday, January 3, 2013, at 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in Harvey's name to the Fresno Rescue Mission and the Poverello House.
