Haydee Eloisa Polo Hidalgo

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Haydee Eloisa Polo Hidalgo at the age of 90. Haydee passed away peacefully on August 19th, 2025, in Fresno, California. Born on May 16th, 1935, in Lima, Peru, she lived a life marked by dedication to her family, her profession, and the well-being of those around her.

Haydee pursued higher education in Lima, Peru at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos where she completed studies in accounting, and in Escuela Normal Superior where she earned her degree in education; later serving as a teacher.

Haydee married Javier Caceres Lopez in 1968, both remained together for 53 years until the passing of Javier in 2021.

Throughout her life, Haydee remained devoted to her family. She was a loving mother to her daughter Liliana and son Manuel. Her family circle extended with warmth to her son-in-law Alfredo and daughter-in-law Jessica. She cherished her role as grandmother to Isabella, Gaby, Sophie, Alexander, and Ava—each of whom brought immense joy into her life. Haydee shared a close bond with her sisters Zoila and Vilma and always looked after them graciously. Haydee also embraced Mariana and her children Eduardo and Ana Cecilia who viewed her as a mother and a grandmother and who will miss her dearly.

Haydee was preceded in death by her beloved husband Javier, her parents Anatolio and Zoila, and her brothers Carlos and Nicolas. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout the years.

Haydee found great joy in simple pleasures in life — gardening, cherishing numerous plants at home, exploring new places through travel, and most especially spending time with her family. Her home was often filled with laughter and love during gatherings that celebrated both everyday moments and special occasions.

Known for her generosity and compassion, Haydee consistently placed the needs of others before her own. She took genuine satisfaction in ensuring the comfort and happiness of those around her—a legacy of kindness that will continue to inspire all who knew her.

May the memory of Haydee Eloisa Polo Hidalgo bring comfort and peace to all who were touched by her presence.

Con gran pesar anunciamos el fallecimiento de Haydee Eloisa Polo Hidalgo a los 90 años. Haydee falleció serenamente el 19 de Agosto de 2025 en Fresno, California, rodeada de sus seres queridos. Nacida el 16 de mayo de 1935 en Lima, Perú, vivió una vida marcada por la dedicación a su familia, su profesión y el bienestar de quienes la rodeaban

Haydee cursó estudios superiores en Lima, Perú, en la Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, donde completó sus estudios de contabilidad, y en la Escuela Normal Superior, donde obtuvo su licenciatura en educación; posteriormente ejerciendo como docente.

Haydee se casó con Javier Cáceres López en 1968 y permanecieron juntos durante 53 años hasta el fallecimiento de Javier en el 2021.

A lo largo de su vida, Haydee se mantuvo dedicada a su familia. Fue una madre amorosa para su hija Liliana y su hijo Manuel. Su círculo familiar se extendió con cariño a su yerno Alfredo y a su nuera Jessica. Adoraba su rol de abuelita para Isabella, Gaby, Sophie, Alexander y Ava, quienes aportaron una inmensa alegría a su vida. Haydee compartía un vínculo estrecho con sus hermanas Zoila y Vilma, a quienes siempre cuidó con cariño. Haydee también incluyo como familia a Mariana y a sus hijos Eduardo y Ana Cecilia, quienes la quieren como madre y abuelita y a su vez la extrañarán profundamente.

A Haydee le precedieron en la muerte su amado esposo Javier, sus padres Anatolio y Zoila, y sus hermanos Carlos y Nicolás. Sus recuerdos permanecieron en su corazón a lo largo de los años.

Haydee disfrutaba enormemente de los placeres sencillos de la vida: la jardinería, cuidar las numerosas plantas de su casa, sus árboles frutales, explorar nuevos lugares viajando y, sobre todo, pasar tiempo con su familia. Su hogar solía llenarse de risas y amor durante las reuniones que celebraban tanto los momentos cotidianos como las ocasiones especiales.

Conocida por su generosidad y compasión, Haydee siempre priorizó las necesidades de los demás sobre las suyas. Le complacía genuinamente asegurar la comodidad y la felicidad de quienes la rodeaban, un legado de bondad que seguirá inspirando a quienes la conocieron.

Que el recuerdo de Haydee traiga consuelo y paz a todos los que tuvieron la alegría de conocerla.
