She was the funniest and most of all the best great grandma. She was always losing or winning the card games (making me play fair, and not by my rules) and she is a very good competitor. I will miss her and love her very much.

Grandma,
I am very grateful that we got the privilege to move you and Grandpa to Fresno. It was a blessing that we were so close and got to have you present for all the fun adventures and activities these past years. I know Mallory and Dylin enjoyed your extra smiles and hugs every time they saw you. I want to THANK YOU for being such a wonderful Grandma to Brett and I as well as a Great Grandma to Mallory and Dylin. I also want to thank you for the fun recipes you have passed down to Vicki who in-turn passed down to me, especially for American Pizza. I know all of your Grandkids and Great Grandkids will forever remember you when enjoying this wonderful thing called American Pizza. Grandma, your life was full of loving deeds, forever thoughtful of our special needs. Today and tomorrow, our whole life through, we will always love and cherish you.

Love Lots,
Lyndi Sherwood (Granddaughter in law)

Grandma,

You were an angel in life and now you are our angel up in heaven. Everyone that knew you always said the same thing, what a wonderful, thoughtful, sweet, and caring person. I will always cherish the times we spent together, and all the things you taught me (making over-easy eggs, giving the best back scratches). Mallory and Dylin absolutely loved you and I’m so grateful Mallory got to spend time with you these last few years, months, and weeks. Love you always Grandma!

My dear Grandma,

We all miss you so much. Thank you for being such a wonderful role model of a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. You taught us so much and loved us even more. The love you and grandpa had showed us all what forever could look like. You both gave us so much to aspire to.

Having you in our lives brought us so much laughter and love. Thank you for all of the crafting creations, yummy snacks, fun trips, and great back scratches. I will always remember all of our days together. I am so lucky that I was able to spend so much time with you while I was growing up. Also, I am forever grateful that we were able to spend a few days together. I deeply cherish those days full of conversation, laughter, and reminiscing.

I will miss our long phone conversations and your stories. I’ve already caught myself thinking of things that I want to tell you during our next talk. I’ll just have to know that you’re watching over us and know that you’re still listening. I miss you so much. Give grandpa a big hug for me. Know that I think of you both often and that I’ll miss you so much.

Love,

Jenni

What a truly wonderful, caring and loving woman. I could not have asked for a better Grandma. I was lucky enough to have you in my life for 30 years and I will cherish all of those memories. As much as I will miss you, I am so happy you are with Grandpa again and it just warms my heart thinking about it. You will forever be in my heart. Love you, Grandma! Tell Grandpa we say hi and miss him too.

Such a wonderful second mom. Always willing to play hostess to a bunch of giggly girls. She was a great example of strength, hospitality, and motherhood. Unassuming greatness on earth.

Helen, my heart is sadden that you are no longer with us. But it is us who grieve, you are in a much better place.

In 2Corinthians 5:1-10 it talks about our new heavenly bodies. Where we all going to look the best we ever have. Helen, you must be glowing in all your righteous beauty.
For your loved ones, I leave this;

A Time for Everything
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:

2 a time to be born, and a time to die;
a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
3 a time to kill, and a time to heal;
a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4 a time to weep, and a time to laugh;
a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5 a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6 a time to seek, and a time to lose;
a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7 a time to tear, and a time to sew;
a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8 a time to love, and a time to hate;
a time for war, and a time for peace.

So there is a time for us all. Let us all honor her by living with gracious hearts and love for one another.
Helen, you will be missed.
Love you,
Luci
PS...this picture holds a very fond memory for me. One of many.

Hello Mom. I love you so much and I will miss you immensely. You have been such a wonderful influence on my life and I could’ve asked for a better mother and friend. I’m glad you’re now with dad and Pat and your other relatives and friends who have passed, but you will really be missed here. Heaven is a little brighter place today with you in it, and here is a little less bright without you here with us. I am peaceful and knowing that you were in God's hands, and you’re with daddy. Until we all meet again, know that I love you so much and I will miss you. Love, your son Michael
