Helen Amelia McGowan Gray was born July 28, 1921, in Bay Minette, Alabama. She passed away peacefully on December 31, 2010. Helen was a proud World War II Navy Veteran and a warm-hearted, fun-loving southern lady, who loved animals and whose absence will be deeply felt by those who knew and loved her.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Clell; and daughter, Susan.
She is survived by her daughters, Catherine and Bridget; grandson, Preston; son-in-law, Chip; brother, Randolph and family; and sister-in-law, Mary and family.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. James Anglican Cath- edral, on Thursday, January 6, 2011, at 10:00 a.m.
