In the beginning of summer of 1972, she met Sylvester Perez, her future husband. On July 11, 1972, Henrietta Leon and Sylvester Perez became one in Reno, Nevada.
Within three years she gave birth to Stacie R. and Nathan Perez. She was already a stepmother to Rodney, Adrianne, and Steven Perez. She was an avid bowler, enjoyed crocheting blankets, ceramics, and puzzles.
She was proceeded in death by Robert, Raul, and Fred Leon, her brothers.
She leaves behind twenty-three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and one great, great-grandchild and sisters, Emma Leon and Bertha Rios, and brother, Luis Leon.
