Henry Perez Rodriguez

Henry, retired after 35 years as a Supervisor at Italian Swiss Colony Winery in Clovis, CA.

Henry, was the first President of the Guadalupe Society in Clovis in 1956, and also served as President at the Sacred Heart Chapter in Fresno. He served as President of the Guadalupana Federation of the Diocese of Fresno for many years. Henry and his wife, Rose, have always been faithful and active members of the Society and the Catholic Church. The objective of the Guadalupana Society is to promote in its members a deeper knowledge of their faith, the doctrine of the Catholic Church, a greater understanding of liturgical life and fervent devotion to our Lady of Guadalupe. He and Rose have devoted their lives to their family to help improve, if possible, the economical, moral, educational and spiritual conditions of the needy their family and or any other person in need. They were also life members of the Benificencia.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Rose; daughter Adele; and son, Henry Rodriguez, Jr.

He is survived by his children, Shirley Gaytan, David Rodriguez, George Rodriguez and Arthur Rodriguez, his faithful caregiver; his nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 10, 2016, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. followed by a Wake Service at 7:00 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Clovis Cemetery.
