Hiroshi's family wish- es to thank the gracious staff at San Joaquin Gardens and Optimal Hospice for their care and support.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gunichi and Asayo Niino; his brother, Takeshi "Bill"; and his sister, Chiyoko Kuro- kawa.
He is survived by Midori, his wife of almost 50 years; children, Leslie Afzali and her husband Tory, Kim Niino and her husband John Gallone, and Eric Niino and his wife Kathy; grandchildren Bryan and Brad Afzali, Cassie, Ricky, and Robby Niino.
Hiroshi leaves behind his sisters, Hisako Ta- naka and Kimiko Fukuba.
Visitation will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Friday, May 21, 2010, from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be held at Lisle Calaveras Chapel on Saturday, May 22, 2010, at 3:00 p.m.
