Ilona Maria Pecel, age 72, of Fresno, California passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024. Ilona was born in Budapest, Budapest, Hungary.

Ilona is survived by her husband, John Pecel; her daughter Nicole Pestorich (Mike Pestorich); her daughter Cassandra Vossmeyer (Scott Vossmeyer); and her son Thomas Pecel; her grandchild Sasha Vossmeyer, her grandchild Cody Vossmeyer, her grandchild Luka Pestorich and her grandchild Maja Pestorich.

A funeral service for Ilona will be held Tuesday, January 30, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at St. Steven's Serbian Orthodox Church, 1621 W. Garvey Ave., Alhambra, CA 91803.

Serving as pallbearers are George Chumo II, Luka Pecel, Brad Chumo, Steve Vico, Mark Gentry and Greg Sweet.

Remembrances may be made to St. Steven's Serbian Orthodox Church.
