Irene was a devoted mother to her five sons, Larry, Steve, Arnold, Jim, Tim and one daughter Eileen. She also was a grandmother to ten grandchildren and a great grandmother to five great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Asako Ishihama.
A memorial service will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 3:00 pm.
