Irma didn’t need much to be content with life. She saw beauty in everything God created and wasn't shy about sharing it—even if it meant making you a few minutes late just to catch a sunset.
She found simple joy in watching the San Francisco Giants baseball games or episodes of The Waltons and The Lawrence Welk Show. Irma was also a self-taught guitarist and pianist.
After enjoying the smell of the alfalfa fields, her conversations would seamlessly shift from current world events to how biblical history is playing out in real time. She devoutly read her bible and would also famously speak in tongues.
She would gently interrupt and say, "Let’s pray." Right then and there over the phone, she would lift you up in prayer, and then remarkably pick up the conversation exactly where she left off.
Irma lived her faith out loud.
Of all the wisdom she imparted, people’s favorite advice from her was simple and urgent: "Be ready… when the trumpets sound and in the blink of an eye, Jesus will be back!"
She always had the best stories to tell, but above all else, she always made sure the spotlight shined brightly on Jesus.
Irma is survived by a daughter, Laura, two grandsons, Wyatt and Carson; sisters Jeanne, Marian, and Susie; brothers Stephen (Rhonda) and Randy (Julie); and nieces and nephews Sherri, Matt, Marc, Melanie, John, Julie, Aaron, Heather, Ryan, Travis, Emma, and William. She is preceded in death by son Brian Glenn Reasoner.
