Our hearts are sad for Jack's passing.  I've only known him for a few years.  He was a kind, gentle man, always asking how I was doing and what was I doing.  My husband, Tom, has worked for Jack longer, doing his yard work to keep him fire safe, small maintenance jobs that Jack could no longer do.  Jack always enjoyed his company and would be out talking with him while he worked.  After the job was done, they would share a few Corona's and talk about his life history.  We were fortunate to have lunch with him and Judy Miller this winter at his favorite place to eat, Mono Wind Casino.  We will miss him dearly.  Condolences to his family.

Jack has been our longtime friend in the mountain community since early 2002 on. He has always been here for us and we have been such good friends for so long. He has been an example of perfection OCD, and everyone knows he has enjoyed the peace of this mountain ridge. The trees and clear breeze and the views are what he looked forward to every time driving back from valley. We both experienced the horrendous awful Creek fire 2020 and thankfully we both were blessed to survive with our homes coming yards from flames of destruction. Jack always told me of his many travels and life of the strong 80 plus years of which fascinated me. He loved mint brownies, Millers honey on toast, Coronas, reading the daily newspaper *when it used to be good*, college football, women's college basketball and volleyball, science documentaries,  Mexican food, great music of good eras, and his Clovis properties which always kept him busy. I was honored to drive him on his last "car" day by the FSU stadium and the Clovis property before the turn for the weakening of his body. He leaves a legacy of dealing with HARD work and bravery for going through some trying medical experiences. He learned so much from his amazing father and ancestors which are now together in spirit. He will be sorely missed from our ridge life! God Bless Jack in eternity.

Jack was a part of this family as far back as I remember.  He was my father's best man at his wedding and was at every event in my life and every member of my family.  He will be missed by all of us.  He is in a better place now up there with my dad and all his friends and family.  Since his passing I have looked at pictures that I have not seen in years and started to remember the time and places we all went together.  Especially some that I never seen before and had to ask what and were these were taken from. My mom filled in the what and where on most of them. The things I never knew about. They were all good times and I'm grateful to him for letting me and my family to be apart of his life. We loved him and will miss him very much.....
