Jack was born February 5, 1962 and passed away peacefully on May 12, 2024 at the age of 62. He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Tilytha (Tillie) Spinetta and father, Paul Spinetta of Hanford, California. He is survived by 3 sisters, Patty LaBelle, Lori Stockton and Vicki Spinetta, several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews, his extended family Joe and Diana Salinas of Fowler and many, many friends.
Jack attended school in Hanford and studied at College Of The Sequoias in Visalia and Fresno City College. He also attended a day program at United Cerebral Palsy in both Hanford and Fresno. Jack was born with Cerebral Palsy and was in a wheelchair his whole life. Though he was faced with great challenges throughout his life, it didn’t stop him from doing his best to “fit in” and be independent. Jack loved the Lord more than anything and it was that love and his faith in God that gave him strength through each day. He loved listening to Christian music and the Carpenters. Anyone he met immediately became his friend and his smile and excitement would light up a room when you stopped by to say hello. He was able to visit many places but his favorite were The Grand Canyon, Hawaii, and Monterey. He enjoyed camp at UCP and the many outings and adventures they went on. As a kid, it was great going to Magic Mountain with a disabled brother, you got to go first in line and stay on the ride a second time! Jack will be dearly missed and forever remembered. We are rejoicing too. Rejoicing that he is healed by God’s stripes and can finally walk and talk and that he is reunited with our beloved mother!
His sisters wish to acknowledge and thank the wonderful nurses and staff at Saint Agnes Hospital for the care and compassion they provided to him and a very special heartfelt thank you to his mentor at UCP and caregiver, Diana Salinas, of Fowler. Diana, for all the love and care you gave Jack for 16 years. You welcomed him with an open heart and open arms as a part of your family, we are eternally grateful.
Private services will be held at Grangeville Cemetery, Armona, CA
