I just learned of Jim passing away... What a wonderful man to have worked for when I was younger. Jim, Betty and Steve were all very generous and kind to me and took a chance on me to work there. When as a lost young man I had no experience and no where to go. I worked there for about 8 years as a Private Investigator for them, Jim and Steve taught me many lessons not only about Investigating but life as well. They always treated me like family. 

Rest in peace Jim. And "God" bless you. Also, I pray many blessings be upon 
Betty, Steve and the rest of the Appleby family.

My condolences to the entire Appleby family on the loss of a genuinely nice man. On several occasions I visited the offices and Jim would be sitting in a chair in the lobby doing a crossword puzzle and we'd strike up an interesting conversation. He will be missed by all.

We love you uncle Jim, aunt Betty,Steve, Carol et. Al.  Seventy one years of marriage, what a beautiful legacy. I remember little league uniforms and proudly wearing 'Appleby & Co' on the back, and the joy you and your brothers, uncle Gene and my dad (Don) had on your trip back to your roots. I can only imagine the overwhelming joy of embracing you Beloved Susie, Grandma, Grandpa, your brother's and my mom. As Jesus said "eyes haven't seen, ears haven't heard and neither has entered into the heart of man those wonderful things God has in store for those who love Him".
