James Darwin Melgard, was born to James Peter Melgard and Dehlia Connerly on December 30, 1925 in Reedley, California. He passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at the age of 96.

James is survived by his daughter Leislie Dearing (Doug); and his son Bryan Melgard (Debbie); his sister Gloria Sahm.

Mr. Melgard also leaves behind 4 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

James was preceded in death by his wife LaVeta Melgard; his daughter Lillian Melgard.

A graveside service for James will be held Monday, March 28, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Fresno Memorial Gardens, 175 South Cornelia Ave, Fresno, CA 93706.
