

A man of deep faith and a heart full of love, Ed’s devotion to God and his family guided him throughout his life. He cherished his role as a husband, father, stepfather, and grandfather, and he took immense pride in the lives and accomplishments of his children, stepdaughters, and grandchildren.
Ed dedicated 39 years of service to the Clovis Post Office. A man with a generous spirit, he also volunteered at Elkhorn Correctional Facility in Fresno, California, a nationally recognized boot camp for minors, where he made a meaningful impact, embodying his belief in second chances and helping others.
Ed is survived by his loving wife, Chom Ye Post of Fresno, California, and his sister, Shirley McCammon of Santa Maria, California. He leaves behind his children, all of Fresno, California: Steve Post and his wife, Laura; Ron Post and his wife, Sherri, along with their sons, Matthew and Joey; and Caryn Tong and her husband, Leighton, with their children, Anthony and Ambria. He is fondly remembered by his stepdaughters, Kimberly Jacoby and her husband, Jeff, of Fort Worth, Texas, and their daughters, Kaylee Hatfield of Fort Worth, Texas, and Allison Dodson of Fresno, California, as well as Julia Mideiros of Madera, California, and her son, Michael Hicks. Additionally, he is survived by numerous great-grandchildren as well.
Ed leaves behind a legacy of faith, kindness, and devotion to those he loved. His family and friends will forever treasure the abundance of wisdom, humor, and heartfelt hugs he shared during his time on this earth.
A celebration of Ed’s life will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at the GL Johnson Chapel at People's Church on 7172 N Cedar Ave. Fresno, CA 93720, where his family and friends will gather to honor his remarkable life and the joy he brought to so many.
