Janie Hinojosa

Janie is survived by her spouse, Richard Ovalle, and her children: Richard Xavier Ovalle Jr., Gilbert Anthony Matthew Ovalle (Mao Yee Ovalle), and Priscilla Belle Ovalle (Virgilio Santiago Antonio). She is also survived by her grandchildren: Catalina McKayla Ovalle, Manolo Zachary Ovalle, Sebastian Xavier Antonio, Cameron Matthew Alexander Ovalle, Perseus Alexander Antonio, Felicity Bellerose Antonio, and Lucas Elliot Santino Ovalle.

Janie was predeceased by her father, Robert Hinojosa, and her mother, Rosa Valdez.

Pallbearers for the services will include Richard Xavier Ovalle Jr., Gilbert Anthony Matthew Ovalle, Virgilio Santiago Antonio, Manolo Zachary Ovalle, Sebastian Xavier Antonio, Cameron Matthew Alexander Ovalle, Joe Alex Hinojosa, and Jose Alejandro Hinojosa.

A visitation will be held on November 24, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Fresno, located at 475 North Broadway, Fresno, CA 93701. A prayer service will take place on the same day from 6:00 pm to 6:30 pm at the same venue.

The funeral service is scheduled for November 25, 2025, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am at Saint John's Cathedral, 2814 Mariposa St, Fresno, CA 93721. The committal service will follow at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, 264 N Blythe Ave, Fresno, CA 93706, from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm.
