Jeanette loved to travel and host parties for friends. Her most memorable recent trip was to Ireland. Trips back to Massachusetts to visit family were also a great highlight. In earlier times, she also loved to accompany Don and their grandchildren to local fishing holes for day outings. She is best remembered for her giving nature, for making life easy on those around her, and for her stuffed olives.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Donald K. Palmer.
Jeanette is survived by her son, Brian Nicholson and his wife Jean of Fresno, and their three children, Kevin Nicholson and his wife Megan of Dallas, TX, Benjamin Nicholson and his wife Lucia of Fresno, and Sara Nicholson of Fresno. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren, Josephine, Brian, Palmer, and Beau Nicholson.
A Memorial Mass will be held at The Shrine of Saint Therese Catholic Church on Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in Jeanette's honor to The Nazareth House, 2121 N. First Street, Fresno, CA 93703.
