Jennie Cervantes Rodriquez

Jennie was born on April 27th 1931 in Mesa AZ to Julian and Juana Cervantes. She has 5 siblings, 1 brother and 4 sisters, and is survived by a sister Sally. She has 7 children and is survived by Bernave,Nadine,Isidro,Natalia, Manuel and Gyovannie. A son Gilbert who has been called home. She has 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

She lived in Firebaugh most of her life until 1986. Then moved to Fresno California until she was called home. She was a homemaker,mother and father to her children.

She loved music, singing, dancing, drawing and cooking and boy could she cook!! Even though she had a physical illness there was nothing she wouldn't do for her family or love one's. She fought a good fight with dementia until the Lord called her home.

A visitation for Jennie will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Whitehurst Sullivan Burns & Blair Funeral Home, 836 E. Nees Ave., Fresno, CA 93720, followed by a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 PM

A Mass of Christian Burial Service will take place on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2140 N Cedar Ave, Fresno, CA 93703 with a committal service taking place Immediately after the mass at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery, 264 N Blythe Ave, Fresno, CA 93706.
