She was born in Edinburgh, Scotland on Sept. 24, 1927. She was a banquet waitress in Fresno for many years.
She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother, who will be greatly missed.
Jerry is survived by her beloved husband Bob of 58 years, her daughter Debra Menchu and her husband Lance of Round Rock, TX, her daughter Nancy Gentile and her husband Robert of Clovis, two grandsons, Alex Menchu of Austin, TX and Robert Menchu of Round Rock, TX, her brother James Sutherland of Fresno and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her brother John Sutherland and sisters Dee Pfister, Ruby Ingles and Molly Bracht.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at the Lisle Funeral Home from 10:00 am until 7:00 pm.
Funeral service on Friday, April 1, 2011 at Lisle Funeral Home at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Fresno Memorial Gardens.
