Jessie was born in Weed, Ca. and had much to be proud of. One of her great accomplishments was obtaining her cosmetology license. We were all so proud. She was also a wonderful homemaker. You were expected to bring your appetite with you on arrival.
Mom was our religious strength throughout our lives. May the Lord take her into his heavenly kingdom.
She is preceded in death by her husband Tereso; son, Bobby Duarte, Jr.; her infant daughter, Gloria Duarte; grandchildren Lisa and Jeremy; and great-grandson Enzo.
Jessie is survived by her daughter, Yolanda Miller; siblings Bob and Lupe; and many grand, great-grand, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Stephens & Bean Chapel on Sunday, March 24, 2013 from 12 Noon to 6:00 p.m., followed by a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m.
A Graveside Service will be held at Belmont Memorial Park on Monday, March 25, 2013 at 1:00 p.m.
