Jim Wayne Watson

Jim W. Watson was born September 19, 1933. He passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 18, 2017, surrounded by his loving family members. He was married to the love of his life, Jane T. Watson, for 63 years.

Jim owned a small chemical company, Wat Chem Marketing, through 1990. Following this he was a successful realtor with Guarantee Realty in the Fresno area. He was very honored to be a Grand Knight in the Knights of Columbus and a Eucharistic Minister and Usher at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. In his younger years, he was an avid golfer and enjoyed the outdoors with his family and friends.

He was a loving and dedicated husband and father. His family was his greatest pride and joy. Together with Jane, they raised four children.

Jim is survived by his wife Jane; son Michael Watson and wife Diana; daughter Marianne Richards and husband Jim; and daughter Michele Orlando; along with 10 grandchildren and four great-grand-children; and his sister Jerri Yeager.

His wish for a swift and peaceful passing was granted, and he has risen to Heaven to join his youngest daughter, Lisa Coyle, who passed in 2009.

Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Monday, January 30, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. followed by Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Private interment to follow. Remembrances may be made in Jim's name to your favorite charity.
