Mr. Joe Ramirez Jr.

He served in the Army 82nd Airborne Division and in 1952 was most proud to have participated in the atomic testing in Yucca Flats, Nevada.

He became a barber in 1957 and after 42 years, retired in 1999. His clintele provided him with many happy days and was appreciative of their loyalty.

The family would like to thank St. Agnes Hospice for thier care and support.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents; one brother; two sisters; and son, David R.

He is survived by his wife Natalie; sons, Michael J. and Ernest P.; daughter, Becky Panos and her husband Jon; grandson John and his wife Laura; unborn great-granddaughter, Sofia Yvonne; brothers Ambrose and his wife Jane, Daniel and his wife Evelyn and Louis; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Stephens & Bean Chapel on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service to follow from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.

A Graveside Service will be held at Belmont Memorial Park on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 11:00 a.m.
