Joe is survived by his esposa, Maria Rivas.
Joe was preceded in death by his padre Jose Rivas and his madre Carmen Trigueros.

A misa will occur Tuesday, October 17, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at St. John's Catholic Church, 2814 Mariposa Street, Fresno, CA 93721. An entierro will occur Tuesday, October 17, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Fresno Memorial Gardens, 175 South Cornelia Ave, Fresno, CA 93706.
