John Edward Baziuk, 86, of Fresno, California, was born on September 23, 1939, in Fresno, California, and died on June 16, 2026. He will be remembered with deep respect and gratitude by all who knew and loved him.
John served in the California Air National Guard for six years, a commitment that reflected a steady sense of duty and devotion to others. For many years, he worked as a building contractor, bringing care and reliability to his work and the people who depended on it.
John and his beloved wife, Suzanna Baziuk, were married for 62 years, a testament to enduring love, loyalty, and the quiet strength of a life built together. He is also survived by his daughters, Lisa Baziuk and Christine Baziuk-Byers (Andy); his brother, Stephen Baziuk; his sister, Jacklynn Chambers Andress; and his grand daughters, Jordyn Lynch, Elijana Clemensen, Theadora Clemensen.
A faithful man throughout his life, John was an active member of Saint Peter the Apostle Serbian Orthodox Church, where his devotion and presence were a meaningful part of his community and spiritual home.
A Prayer Service will be held at Serbian Orthodox Church of St. Apostle Peter, 3502 N First St, Fresno, CA 93726, on June 25, 2026, at 7:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Serbian Orthodox Church of St. Apostle Peter, 3502 N First St, Fresno, CA 93726, on June 26, 2026, at 10:00 am.
